About Brandon Boyd:

Brandon Boyd’s life is one characterized by creativity and self-expression. As a very young boy he often carried sketchbooks and notepads, and though he was never formally trained, over the years he has developed that young habit into an inextricable part of his adult life. In 1991 he began singing and writing lyrics with high school friends in what would be come the multi-platinum and internationally recognized rock band, Incubus. Brandon is the author of three books combining his artwork and creative writing: White Fluffy Clouds (2003), From the Murks of the Sultry Abyss (2007), and So The Echo (September, 2013).  Timing a new book alongside new music, he also released Sons of The Sea in September, a collaboration between he and acclaimed producer Brendan O’Brien.  In the winter of 2014 the group played sold out shows in LA, NY and The Fillmore in San Francisco.  Shifting creative gears in his own unique and versatile way, Brandon showcased his visual art In Europe for the first time in March, participating in an exhibition in Zurich followed by book signings and Q&A’s in Paris and London. This fall he will again travel overseas with his visual art for a gallery exhibit in Rome and other cities.
